Job Title: Travel Medical Equipment Field Technician
Location: Assigned Travel
Start Date: ASAP
The travel technician will be responsible for installing and replacing assigned medical equipment on behalf of our OEM partner.
Responsibilities:
· Perform installation and replacement of assigned medical equipment
· Willingness to travel for extended periods of time
· Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database
· Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history
Experience:
· Associates or Bachelors Degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military training required
· Minimum of 2 years experience working with in a healthcare or in a clinical engineering environment
· Valid driver’s license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site that may require use of personal vehicle
· Intermediate computer skills required, including the ability to administrate a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard-drives, replace power supplies, interpret computer codes, and apply networking concepts
· Strong communication and willingness to work in teams
