Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Studio Director to lead our Scottsdale architectural studio, focused on high-end single-family residential projects. This role is ideal for a senior architect who combines strong design leadership with the ability to manage teams, coordinate multiple disciplines, and keep projects on track.

The Studio Director will oversee architectural work from concept through permitting, working closely with Pre-Construction and Interior Design partners in a collaborative design-build environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the Scottsdale architecture studio
• Mentor, coach, and develop architectural staff
• Delegate work effectively and ensure clear accountability
• Oversee multiple high-end residential projects simultaneously
• Coordinate closely with Pre-Construction and Interior Design teams
• Ensure projects stay on track with scope, schedule, and budget
• Provide design and technical leadership from concept through construction documents
• Review Revit models and drawing sets for quality, consistency, and constructability
• Maintain studio standards, workflows, and documentation best practices

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in high-end single-family residential architecture
• Proven experience leading and mentoring architectural teams
• Strong proficiency in Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Comfortable coordinating across disciplines and driving alignment
• Strong communication skills and professional presence
• Licensed Architect preferred (or actively pursuing licensure)
