Job Description

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a highly creative, organized, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager and Content Creator to join our in-house team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing social media channels and producing engaging, scroll-stopping short-form content for clients. From concept to execution, you’ll own the content creation process and play a key role in helping brands show up authentically and strategically online.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day social media activity for client accounts, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and responding to comments/DMs

- Write compelling captions that reflect brand voice and goals

- Build content calendars and execute cohesive content campaigns aligned with strategy

- Plan, capture, and edit original video and photo content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube

- Use your iPhone and content tools (tripods, ring lights, mics, etc.) to shoot content at client locations and in-studio

- Attend client shoots to direct or capture content in real-time

- Create visual mood boards and concept direction for shoots and campaigns

- Collaborate with the strategy and project management teams to ensure brand consistency across channels

- Stay up-to-date on trends, audio, platform updates, and apply learnings to content

- Organize and manage content libraries, keeping everything neat and accessible

Qualifications:

- 2–4 years of experience creating content for social media, preferably for brands or agencies

- Strong understanding of social platforms

- Proficient with mobile editing tools (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, etc.)

- Excellent visual storytelling skills and creative eye for detail

- Ability to write clean, clever captions with a strong grasp of brand tone

- Comfortable shooting on an iPhone and using basic gear (e.g., tripods, lights, mics)

- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Experience in beauty, fashion, hospitality, or lifestyle industries

- Basic photography or videography skills

- Experience using scheduling tools (Sprout Social)

- Familiarity with influencer collaboration and UGC
