Baer is looking for SAP S4HANA Service Management Consultant for a 3+ month project located in Houston, TX
Title: SAP S4HANA Service Management Consultant
Location: Hybrid – Houston, TX (Mon-Thur)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:
- Configure and deliver rental processes, including intercompany loans and sales.
- Implement route-based and site-based service processes.
- Design and execute in-house repair scenarios for company- and customer-owned assets.
- Deliver end-to-end warranty management including vendor recovery and claims.
- Implement Fiori apps for service tracking and technician productivity.
- Lead fit-to-standard workshops and manage key design decisions (KDDs).
- Engage business and IT stakeholders to define scalable, best-practice solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications and contribute to WRICEF development.
- Drive integration testing for rental, service, and warranty flows.
- Support test script creation, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
- Ensure smooth integration with SD, MM, EWM, FI/CO, QM, and Asset Management.
- Collaborate with ABAP teams on custom developments and enhancements.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 2–3 full-cycle S/4HANA SM implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Service Orders, Contracts, Notifications, Repair Orders, Warranty Claims.
- Strong understanding of intercompany processes, pricing, and settlement.
- Experience with Fiori, CDS views, and standard S/4HANA reporting.
- Proven ability to lead client workshops, document solutions, and manage testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.
