Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in RF circuit and antenna design , testing, and optimization.
- Deep knowledge of RF fundamentals, including impedance matching , S-parameters , and noise figure .
- Experience with wireless standards such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa , and other ISM bands .
- Proficiency with RF design software (e.g., ADS, CST, HFSS ) and lab equipment for testing and validation.
- Experience designing PCBs with high-frequency considerations and mixed-signal integration .
- Working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements ( FCC, CE , etc.).
- Experience with embedded systems, firmware, and low-power design.
- Familiarity with IoT device architecture and cloud connectivity.
- Understanding of EMC/EMI mitigation techniques.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and implement RF circuitry , including power amplifiers, LNAs , filters, matching networks, and transceivers.
- Select, design, and integrate antenna solutions, performing tuning and layout optimization.
- Collaborate with layout engineers to optimize high-frequency PCB layouts for signal integrity and impedance control.
- Use RF test equipment like vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers to validate and debug RF performance.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements ( FCC, CE ) and support certification testing.
- Participate in the product development lifecycle from definition to manufacturing.
- Work with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software) to support system-level integration.
