Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Leather Technician located in Milwaukee, WI. The Leather Technician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to leather processing, quality control, and product development/R&D. Additionally, the Leather Technician will work closely with production teams to ensure the highest standards of leather production.

Qualifications

• Experience in leather processing and quality control
• R&D Experience (Materials Innovation, Formulation, and Process Engineering)
• Knowledge of leather Engineering and dyeing techniques
• Ability to operate and maintain leather processing machinery
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
• Experience in environmental sustainability practices is a plus
• Batchelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent required, additional technical training in leather processing
