We’re partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to find a hands-on, bilingual Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across multiple facilities. This individual will serve as the right hand to the HR Director, acting as a strategic partner to site leadership, championing compliance, performance management, and employee relations initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience , with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- HR experience in food & beverage , CPG , or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Strong command of NJ labor laws and multi-site HR support
- Proficient with HRIS systems and HR process automation
- Ability to travel locally (Somerset) and occasionally to Toronto
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for multiple production facilities
- Provide full-scope HR support: employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, investigations, policy implementation, and training
- Administer I-9 compliance and audits
- Partner with management on performance and workforce planning
- Coordinate leave management, workers' comp, and benefit administration
- Track and report on HR metrics to drive improvement
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Collaborate with recruiting teams and oversee new hire orientation
- Assist in special HR projects and support broader company HR strategy
