Job Title: Graph Lead Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA/ Cleveland, OH/ Dallas, TX (3 days onsite in a week- hybrid)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Graph Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of graph-based solutions across our data and application platforms. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in graph databases , graph query languages , and data modeling , and has led technical teams delivering knowledge graphs , semantic solutions , or Labeled Property Graph systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and development of scalable graph-based applications using technologies like Neo4j , AWS Neptune , or TigerGraph
- Design and implement graph data models that represent complex relationships across domains (RDF/OWL or Property Graph)
- Define and optimize graph queries using Cypher , SPARQL , or Gremlin
- Collaborate with enterprise data architects and business stakeholders to identify graph-based use cases
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge in graph theory, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and performance best practices
- Integrate graph solutions with existing data lakes , ETL pipelines , and APIs
- Lead code reviews, set development standards, and ensure quality assurance
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software or data engineering, with 3+ years focused on graph database technologies
- Expertise in Neo4j , SPARQL/RDF , Gremlin , or other graph platforms
- Solid experience in graph data modeling , ontology design , and semantic data processing
- Strong programming skills in Java , Python , or Scala
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines , containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) , and cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or GCP
- Proven leadership in technical delivery , team collaboration , and cross-functional project execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with knowledge graphs , NLP pipeline integration , or entity resolution
- Familiarity with Linked Data principles , SHACL , or semantic web standards
- Prior experience in domains such as finance , healthcare , e-commerce , or cybersecurity
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Nice to Have:
- Neo4j or AWS Neptune certification
- Contributions to graph technology communities or open-source projects
- Familiarity with GraphQL over graph datasets
