Position: Audi Technician
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair test vehicles to support fleet operations
- Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on prototype vehicles
- Conduct software and hardware updates using specialized engineering tools
- Install, remove, and maintain data logging and monitoring equipment
- Maintain records and reports related to vehicle condition and testing procedures
- Manage tool inventory and support parts logistics, including international shipments
- Assist engineering teams and visiting test personnel with technical support
- Prepare test vehicles for scrapping or reassignment as needed
- Handle fluid sampling and documentation for engineering analysis
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to all safety protocols
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with formal automotive technical training
- Certificate in Automotive Technology
- Minimum of two ASE certifications (one must be powertrain-related)
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Solid verbal and written communication in English
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with European automotive systems (VW, Audi, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in automotive engineering test environments
- Familiarity with VAS diagnostic systems
- Working knowledge of tools such as iDEX, Diagra, ODIS, and CP Tool
- German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus
- Highly self-organized with strong resource coordination abilities
