Assistant Project Manager – Water/Wastewater Construction
Up to $130k base + truck allowance, 401k, and bonus

A self-performing heavy civil contractor is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to lead their Water/Wastewater work across the Dallas metro. This is a field-first leadership role, focused on keeping complex public projects running smoothly, safely, and on budget.
What You'll Do
- Lead project execution for Water/Wastewater infrastructure work
- Manage schedules, budgets, submittals, and subcontractor performance
- Ensure field teams deliver high-quality work aligned with specs and owner expectations
- Coordinate closely with inspectors, engineers, and client reps to avoid delays
- Own documentation, forecasting, and reporting from start to close-out
- Monitor compliance, materials, safety, and quality control
- Drive resolution of field issues, RFIs, and change orders
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience managing heavy civil wastewater projects (utilities, earthwork, structures)
- Proven track record running public sector infrastructure jobs
- Strong understanding of drawings, specs, and contract compliance
- OSHA 30 and strong knowledge of construction standards and practices
- Effective leadership and communication skills with both field and office teams
